DESCRIPTION:Fresh and Fun for February with this delicious meal you will be creating with Chef Amanda. Give your butternut squash soup a bit of zest\, nothing like the fresh flavor combination of of chili lime salmon topped with a Pepita Chimichurri\, black bean and corn salad great refreshing flavors. To complete your meal we will prepare these Greek Yogurt berry fruit cups. \n\nOn The Menu: \n\nZesty Butternut Squash Soup\nChili-Lime Salmon with Pepita Chimichurri\nBlack Bean & Corn Salad with Sundried Tomato Vinaigrette\nGreek Yogurt & Berry Dessert Cups\nWine tasting included\n\nAt Kitch\, our cooking classes are a hands-on experience. You won’t just watch from the sidelines\, you’ll break into groups\, and actively prepare the night’s menu\, with each group handling a different recipe. No matter what your skill level\, you’ll be able to learn new techniques as Chef Amanda helps everyone individually\, as well as addressing the group as a whole during the process of preparing the menu! You’ll be able to interact with the other groups to learn new prep and cooking techniques as well! Once the menu has been cooked\, you will sit down as a group at our elegant farm table and enjoy a glass of wine\, and a sit-down dinner from fantastic meal you have created! Classes are limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people\, and run between 2 and 3 hours\, depending on the menu and class size. All recipes will be provided to every participant. If\, in order to save time\, Chef Amanda has prepared some items from the menu ahead of time\, she will be sure to explain the process to all. DESCRIPTION:Baker Lisa will teach you to prepare these simple technique and romantic desserts. Each individual dessert has a pop of freshness and unique personalities from the red wine lava cake to Apple Roses and finally lemon curd tarts. \n\nRed wine chocolate lava cakes\nApple roses\nLemon curd tarts with fresh berries\n\nBaking with Lisa\nHello all\, I started working at Kitch last year after closing my long time business You Take The Cake after nearly 20 years. I graduated from Culinary Institute of America in NY and began working for Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo\, FL in their bakery. I have also worked for The Strathallan in Rochester NY\, Foxwoods\, Mystic Market and Thames River Greenery’s coffee shop. With so many different baking experiences I am excited to now teach and share my experience. This class will be a combination of hands on participation and demonstration by me. No matter what your skill level\, we will have fun\, and you will learn the baking techniques I have developed in my 20 years of professional baking experience. Class fee is $75\, and best of all\, you get to take home what we make! Classes are limited to 6 people\, for the most personal experience. If a class gets cancelled due to lack of participation\, you will be offered a full refund\, or the ability choose another class.
