Learn how to transform any deck — whether it’s on your boat or in your backyard — into a getaway cruise with the freshest summer cocktails this side of paradise! We’ll start with a Hemingway Daiquiri, then move on to a hand-shaken Pina Colada before wrapping up with a strawberry Mojito that will have you searching for the nearest beach! In this very hands-on class, you’ll get to make and taste each drink under the watchful eye of internationally-renowned mixology author and educator Anthony Caporale! A selection of unique spirits will be provided by Spencer & Lynn Wine and Spirit Merchants of downtown Mystic.

About Chef Anthony
Anthony is an internationally-renowned mixology author, educator, and consultant specializing in the history and science of alcoholic beverages, and works with some of the largest beverage companies in the world. He has been the Director of Spirits Education and Research at New York’s top-ranked Institute of Culinary Education for over a decade, and authored the cocktail chapter of their groundbreaking cookbook, “Recipes for Innovation.” Anthony is also the producer, playwright, and star of “The Imbible” series of NYC-based musicals about the history of cocktails and spirits, which have become some of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time as well as high-volume bar programs. He’s given two “Talks at Google,” he was the featured Cocktail Historian on The Smithsonian Channel‘s “Searching For Secrets: New York” episode, and he recently completed curating an exhibition on Temperance and Trade for Mystic Seaport Museum, the nation’s leading maritime museum. In addition, Anthony served as the National Brand Ambassador for Drambuie Scotch Liqueur and Truvia Natural Sweetener, as well as the Managing Editor for Chilled Magazine, where he currently writes their “Business of Bartending”.
