This Avocado Tuna Salad Sandwich is a healthier take on a classic lunch favorite. Creamy avocado replaces mayo, creating a nutrient-packed, flavorful filling.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of whole-grain bread
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 1/2 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix tuna, mashed avocado, celery, red onion, and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the tuna mixture onto a slice of bread and top with the other slice.
