Warm up with a bowl of hearty Beef and Bean Chili, loaded with bold spices and tender beef for the perfect comfort meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Shredded cheddar cheese, for serving

 

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat for 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
