Relish the crispy, cheesy goodness of Chicken Parmesan, an Italian-American classic perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Place the chicken in a baking dish, top each piece with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
