Grandpa’s Best Pizza
Directions
Pizza 1:
Barbecue
- Pizza dough (make your own or pick up at the grocery store)
- Grandpa’s Best Sweet & Mild (or your favorite Grandpa’s Best sauce)
- Cheese (you can use whatever type you like, but I like using a mix of cheddar, Colby Jack, etc.)
- Pulled pork
- Caramelized onions
Pizza 2:
Kielbasa & kraut
- Pizza dough
- Grandpa’s Best Smoky Southern Gold (or Spicy Southern Gold if you prefer a bit of heat)
- Kielbasa, heated through and sliced thin
- Sauerkraut (you can use as is, but I prefer to squeeze the water out of it and sauté with Guinness to add more flavor)
- Cheese (your choice; mozzarella goes well with this but so would a good beer cheddar cheese)
Pizza 3:
Vegetarian/vegan with roasted cauliflower & butternut squash
- Pizza dough
- Grandpa’s Best Vincent Mango (a curry mango sauce)
- Cheese (I use a combination of cheddar and mozzarella. To make it vegan, simply use a vegan cheese. I like the “Go Veggie” brand, it melts well)
- Roasted cauliflower and butternut squash (roasted ahead of time – I use a bit of garlic salt and mild curry when roasting)
Pizza 4
Vegan White Pizza
- Pizza Dough
- Grandpa’s Best My Big Fat Greek Rub
- Olive oil
- Vegan cheese (Mix of mozzarella and cheddar – I use the “Go Veggie” brand)
- Vegan “Chicken” strips, sautéed lightly in olive oil and seasoned with My Big Fat Greek Rub (I use Morning Star Farms Veggie Chik’n Strips)
- Caramelized onions
