A show-stopping dish, Beef Wellington is perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Sear tenderloin in olive oil until browned on all sides. Let cool.
  2. Sauté mushrooms until dry. Spread mustard on tenderloin, then top with mushrooms.
  3. Wrap in puff pastry and brush with egg. Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes.
