Savor the sweet and savory flavors of Korea with Bulgogi. This beloved dish features thinly sliced beef marinated in a blend of soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and sugar, then grilled or pan-fried to perfection. It’s tender, juicy, and bursting with umami—perfect served over rice or wrapped in lettuce leaves.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice wine (optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, rice wine, and pepper.
  2. Add beef, onion, and green onions. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook until browned and caramelized, about 5–7 minutes.
