This cooling dish features soft tofu topped with a flavorful sauce of soy, sesame oil, and garlic, perfect for a light summer dinner. The crisp vegetables add freshness to the smooth tofu.
Ingredients:
- 1 block silken tofu
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
- Drain the tofu and slice it into cubes or large chunks.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and garlic to make the sauce.
- Arrange the tofu on a serving platter and top with cucumber slices, julienned carrot, and a drizzle of the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve chilled.
