Start your Valentine’s morning with Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Pancakes. Fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, melted chocolate, and a dollop of whipped cream make for a sweet and indulgent breakfast.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup melted chocolate
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side.
- Stack pancakes and top with fresh strawberries, drizzled chocolate, and whipped cream.
