Start your Valentine’s morning with Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Pancakes. Fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, melted chocolate, and a dollop of whipped cream make for a sweet and indulgent breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side.
