Classic Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup whiskey, preferably Irish
  • 2 cups hot freshly brewed coffee

Directions:

  1. Whip the cream and brown sugar in a medium bowl with a whisk until soft peaks form.
  2. Divide the whiskey between 2 mugs and top with the hot coffee. Spoon the whipped cream over top and serve hot.
