Quick, flavorful, and perfect for March evenings, this Garlic Butter Shrimp and Asparagus Skillet is a one-pan meal packed with fresh, zesty flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add garlic and red chili flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Return asparagus to the skillet, squeeze lemon juice over the dish, and toss to combine.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
