Rich and velvety, Creamed Spinach is a comforting side dish with a creamy texture and savory flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Steam spinach until wilted, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Add spinach and mix until coated.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
