Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
  • Optional: 1/4 cup of cream or milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Potato masher or food processor

Instruction:

  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets. Steam or boil the cauliflower until tender.
  2. Meanwhile, mince the garlic cloves. In a skillet, sauté the minced garlic in butter or olive oil until fragrant.
  3. Once the cauliflower is tender, mash it using a potato masher or process it in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Add the sautéed garlic and butter mixture to the mashed cauliflower. If desired, add a splash of cream or milk for creaminess.
  5. Season the mashed cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
  6. Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
