Doenjang Jjigae is a hearty Korean stew made with doenjang (fermented soybean paste), tofu, and vegetables. It’s savory, earthy, and deeply comforting—perfect on chilly evenings.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tbsp doenjang (fermented soybean paste)
  • 1/2 zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 small potato, cubed
  • 1 green chili, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tofu, cubed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, dissolve doenjang in boiling water.
  2. Add potato, zucchini, onion, and garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add tofu and green chili. Cook for another 5–7 minutes.
  4. Top with green onions before serving.
