Delicate and floral, Honey Lavender Panna Cotta is a creamy Italian dessert with a springtime flair. Infused with dried lavender and sweetened with honey, this silky treat is light, elegant, and perfect for warmer weather.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried culinary lavender
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, honey, and lavender. Heat over medium until steaming (don’t boil). Remove from heat and steep 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender cream, return to pan, and gently reheat. Stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  4. Add vanilla extract, pour into ramekins, and chill for at least 4 hours.
