Delicate and floral, Honey Lavender Panna Cotta is a creamy Italian dessert with a springtime flair. Infused with dried lavender and sweetened with honey, this silky treat is light, elegant, and perfect for warmer weather.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 1/2 tsp dried culinary lavender
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, honey, and lavender. Heat over medium until steaming (don’t boil). Remove from heat and steep 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let bloom for 5 minutes.
- Strain the lavender cream, return to pan, and gently reheat. Stir in gelatin until dissolved.
- Add vanilla extract, pour into ramekins, and chill for at least 4 hours.


Suggested Pairing:
Serve with shortbread cookies and a cup of chamomile or Earl Grey tea for a relaxing finish.
