Perfect for on-the-go mornings, these rice balls are packed with savory fillings and easy to make ahead.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
- ½ cup canned tuna or cooked bulgogi
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise (if using tuna)
- 1 sheet roasted seaweed (gim), crushed
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix cooked rice with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and salt.
- Add your filling (tuna-mayo or bulgogi) to the center of a small portion of rice.
- Shape the rice around the filling into a tight ball.
- Roll in crushed seaweed for extra flavor.


Suggested Pairing:
Great with a cup of miso or seaweed soup and fresh fruit slices like apple or pear.
