Spice up your pasta night with Penne Arrabbiata, a fiery and flavorful dish featuring a bold tomato sauce with a kick.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.
