A warm and hearty bowl of spiced apple oatmeal, perfect for chilly winter mornings. This comforting dish combines tender apples, aromatic spices, and crunchy walnuts for a nourishing start to your day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water (or milk for creamier texture)
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  • In a small pot, bring water (or milk) to a simmer.
  • Stir in the oats, diced apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Reduce heat and cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are tender and the apples soften.
