Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (usually around 500°F or 260°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Tear fresh basil leaves and scatter them over the pizza.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
